Lemon Bars

2 sticks of softened butter
1/2 a cup of sugar
2 cups of flour
Press into a cake pan
Bake crust at 350 for 15 minutes or golden brown.

Filling (you can add an EXTRA 2 eggs, 1/2 c sugar, 1 lemon and 4 table spoons flour if you like thick filling, I do)
4 eggs
1 1/2 c sugar
4 lemons juiced
1/4 c flour
Mix well, add to precooked crust, for approx 30 minutes, the top should be firm but slightly jiggly  let cool, sprinkle with powdered sugar!

If you are doing the thicker crust cook closer to 45-60 minutes use 9x12 cake pan, and only cook crust until lightly brown closer to 8-10 minutes.

 for smaller batch can use 8x8
